    Estate Planning Attorney
    Seniority Level: Associate

    Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 (DOE) + No Cap Bonus + Signing Bonus

    A fast-growing and highly respected law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate.     Our firm specializes in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Litigation, Probate Administration, and Trust Administration. We have hundreds of active cases across California and offer a collaborative environment with strong infrastructure and support.

    This role is based in Solana Beach, CA, in the vibrant Cedros Design District—just a short walk from the beach, shops, cafes, and the commuter train.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Draft, revise, and advise on a variety of estate planning documents including wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), and related ancillary documents

    • Provide legal counsel on probate and tax laws, advanced estate planning strategies, and trust techniques

    • Educate clients on complex legal concepts and explain estate plan provisions in plain language

    • Maintain and build strong client relationships through high-quality service and proactive communication

    • Represent clients in matters before the Probate Division of the California Civil Court and related proceedings

    • Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

    • Active license to practice law in the State of California

    • 5+ years of estate planning experience (with High Net Worth Clients)

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

    • Additional bar admissions in NV, AZ, TX, FL, or WY are a plus

    • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
