Note: Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the Utah State Bar and have at least 1+ year of estate planning experience, including drafting or supporting trusts, wills, and related planning documents.

Job Description

  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
  • Support clients with wealth transfer, trust planning, and broader estate planning strategies
  • Review client financial and family information to help develop tailored planning recommendations
  • Communicate with clients, advisors, and internal team members in a polished and professional manner
  • Help manage estate planning matters from intake through document execution
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff on planning strategy, document revisions, and client service
  • Maintain organized files, matter notes, and document workflows
  • Contribute to a high-touch client experience built on responsiveness, accuracy, and discretion
  • Assist with related business succession, entity planning, and asset coordination matters as needed

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Utah State Bar license and good standing required
  • 1+ year of estate planning experience required
  • Experience drafting or substantially supporting trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
  • Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
  • Professional communication style and client-service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven professional environment
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients, tax-sensitive planning, business succession, or private wealth matters is preferred
