If you have hands-on experience with Schaerer, Eversys, or similar super-automatic espresso machines, this role is built for you.

This is not just general maintenance-we're looking for specialists who understand coffee systems, diagnostics, and precision equipment.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work on premium commercial espresso systems (Schaerer & Eversys)
  • High-impact role supporting busy, revenue-critical coffee operations
  • Consistent, year-round work across a large, stable franchise network
  • Opportunity to become the go-to espresso expert on the team
  • Company vehicle + tools + autonomy in the field

What You'll Work On

Espresso & Beverage Equipment (Primary Focus)

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain:
  • Schaerer & Eversys super-automatic espresso machines
  • Grinders, milk systems, steam systems, and water filtration
  • Perform calibrations, preventative maintenance, and deep cleaning cycles
  • Troubleshoot:
  • Brew quality issues
  • Pressure/temperature inconsistencies
  • Electrical/mechanical faults
  • Install and commission new espresso equipment

Additional Equipment (Secondary)

  • Turbochef and Adamatic/Belshaw ovens
  • Refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins)
  • Basic plumbing and electrical systems

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Experience

  • 2+ years working on commercial espresso machines or beverage systems
  • Strong preference for:
  • Schaerer
  • Eversys
  • Franke, WMF, or similar platforms

Technical Skills

  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems
  • Understanding of:
  • Boilers, pumps, grinders, and flow systems
  • Preventative maintenance for high-volume coffee equipment
  • Comfort working independently in the field

Bonus Points

  • Factory training or certifications (Schaerer, Eversys, etc.)
  • Experience in coffee chains, QSR, or high-volume environments

Day-to-Day Expectations

  • Travel between locations to service and maintain equipment
  • Complete work orders and communicate clearly with store teams
  • Keep accurate service records and manage parts inventory
  • Identify issues before they become failures

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Comfortable with on-call rotation, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, on rooftops, and in varying temperatures

Who This Role Is Perfect For

  • Espresso techs tired of bench work who want field independence
  • Coffee equipment specialists looking for stable, full-time work
  • Technicians who enjoy problem-solving and hands-on diagnostics
