Location: Hybrid (Knoxville, TN)
Position Type: Contract / Part-Time (Current caseload: 2 students, 1 hour/day, 5 days/week; subject to change based on enrollment)
Design and implement tailored lesson plans and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for deaf and hard of hearing ESL students.
Adapt instructional materials and utilize specialized strategies to foster full engagement and academic growth.
Collaborate closely to support student progress and accommodate changing enrollment numbers as needed.
Maintain clear and professional communication regarding student development and program requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid Tennessee teaching license with an ESL endorsement.
Skills: Proficiency and active background in American Sign Language (ASL) usage.
Mandatory upon acceptance during the unfinalized stage.
Must be reviewed and approved prior to contract finalization.
