    Location: Humboldt, TN – Onsite
    Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday
    Shift Times: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
    Hours: 9 hours per week

    Job Details

    We are seeking an experienced ESL Instructor / English Language Teacher to provide onsite, face-to-face English language instruction for adult learners.

    The instructor will teach English as a Second Language (ESL) and/or English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses designed to support frontline team members in developing their English language skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver engaging, onsite, face-to-face ESL and/or ESP instruction.
    • Provide approximately 9 instructional hours per week.
    • Develop and adapt instructional materials based on course and learner needs.
    • Attend partner meetings as required.
    • Participate in faculty meetings and professional training sessions.
    • Participate in recruitment events and culminating activities.
    • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Track learner participation and support student progress.
    • Communicate effectively with learners, colleagues, and program partners.

    Qualifications

    • Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
    • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Experience working with adult learners preferred.
    • Ability to develop engaging instructional materials.
    • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work onsite according to the scheduled hours.
    • Professional, reliable, and collaborative approach.
