Description

A well-established title and settlement services company is seeking an experienced Escrow Processor to support purchase and refinance transactions. This role will prepare closing documents, assist with title clearance, coordinate transaction requirements, and communicate with clients throughout the closing process.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Ability to report to Farmington Hills, Sterling Heights, or Grand Rapids office. 
Pay: Up to $25 per hour, always negotiable based on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of Escrow Processor experience required; 4+ years preferred
  • Experience with purchase transactions preferred; refinance experience is also a plus
  • Experience with ResWare, Qualia, or other title industry software required
  • Experience working with HOA status letter sites, lender client portals, and state, county, and municipal websites
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare escrow document packages and assist with file disbursement as needed
  • Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, conveyance documents, and other real estate closing documents
  • Assist with basic title clearance issues and provide direction to clients
  • Communicate with customers regarding title issues and potential solutions
  • Coordinate documentation and transaction requirements throughout the closing process
  • Provide professional and responsive customer service to clients and internal team members
  • Maintain accurate and organized transaction documentation
  • Complete additional escrow and closing responsibilities as assigned
