    POSITION OVERVIEW

    This is a full-time role for an Escrow Officer, and the individual will be responsible for handling closings, notary services, escrow management, and providing exceptional customer service. The role will involve working closely with residential real estate professionals and performing various tasks related to the escrow process.

    LOCATION:

    • This position is based on site at one of our offices located in Cody, Laramie, or Cheyenne.

    HOURS:

    • Full-Time / Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Completes real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements; clearing title requirements; assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents; disbursing funds.

    • Resolving title defects; satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals.

    • Work closely with real estate brokers, lenders, attorneys, consumers, etc., and closely adhere to their transactional instruction

    • Timely, thorough, coordinated, and eloquent communication with all of the parties involved

    • Follow company standards and guidelines when processing transactions - as well as abiding by all applicable State or Federal laws and regulations

    • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of company information, customers and co-workers

    • Closing consummation: review and execute closing documents with the parties - answer questions and check the documents for completeness and accuracy

    • Post-closing: Electronically record documents. Digitize company records. Disburse funds.

    • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Exceptional customer service skills, detail oriented, excellent communication and organizational skills

    • Minimum of 1 year closing experience in the title insurance industry in Wyoming

    • Understands escrow/closing standards, title commitments and requirements, real estate regulations and guidelines, proration, per diems, lender documents, real estate documents, document preparation, etc.

    • Team player, self-starter, committed, dedicated, respectful and hard working

    • Candidate must possess the ability to work independently

    • Candidate must be comfortable meeting with clients and prospects in varied settings

    PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

    • Notary Public, State of Wyoming, preferred

    • Title Insurance Producers license, preferred must be obtained, within 90 days of date of hire
