    Description

    Patten Title Company is a full-service, Texas-based title company serving all real estate title needs with locations in the Houston & Austin areas. We are currently looking for a licensed Escrow Officer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of title experience.

    • Assisting the Escrow Closing team to ensure successful transactions.
    • Collaborate with the title department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, Lis Pendens, etc.
    • Prepare, balance, confirm approval and distribute Closing Disclosures, HUD-1, &/or settlement statements.
    • Secure lender, seller and/or broker approval of loan closing documents.
    • Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and HOA are updated and collected
    • Address all inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies professionally and promptly.
    • Conduct closings with various customers: Realtors, lenders, investors
    • Confirm closing dates, location, documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers.
    • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.


    Requirements

    • 1-3 years of title company experience
    • Great knowledge base regarding Purchase, Refinance, Commercial & Investor business
    • Understanding of Texas Department of Insurance Basic Manual procedures and rules
    • Full time physical attendance is an essential function in the job
