An Escrow Officer manages the escrow account and ensures all conditions of the sale are met before money and property change hands, serving as the primary authority responsible for guiding a real estate transaction from opening through closing. Escrow Officers oversee the accuracy and completeness of all documents, review lender instructions, coordinate with buyers, sellers, and agents, and ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies at every stage of the process. Because they are the main party responsible for all transactions, Escrow Officers must exercise strong judgment, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain clear, timely communication with all parties to facilitate a smooth and successful closing experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability: This position carries high-level critical decision-making responsibility. They have the ability to exercise sound professional and administrative judgment and discretion and have the ability to manage a Title team. They are approved check signers and can approve wires. Escrow Officers must have their TDI license and be up to date on continuing education credits. This position has the ability to authorize a closing and the ability to stop a closing if determined by Escrow Officer the requirements for closing are not met.
