Our client is a well-established and growing title and escrow services firm that has been serving Ohio for nearly three decades. They are seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant with a minimum of one year of title and escrow experience to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with an established, growing organization.
What You'll Do
  • Open and manage title and escrow files from opening through closing
  • Prepare and review settlement statements, CDs, HUD-1s, closing packages, and related documentation
  • Coordinate with escrow officers, lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction
  • Order and track payoffs, insurance, surveys, and other documentation
  • Assist with clearing title requirements and resolving outstanding items
  • Maintain accurate files, deadlines, and transaction records
  • Communicate consistently with clients and transaction partners to keep closings on track
  • Provide professional, responsive customer service throughout the closing process
  • Manage multiple transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in title and escrow
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred:
  • Associate's degree or business-related coursework
  • Experience with title and escrow software
  • Experience preparing CDs, HUD-1s, title commitments, or closing documents
