ERP Senior Systems Administrator

CFS Technology has been retained by a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced ERP Senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in Epicor Kinetic. This is a senior-level, hands-on position responsible for the administration, optimization, development, and long-term strategic management of the organization's ERP ecosystem.


This role is ideal for a technical leader who can balance ERP architecture, system administration, integrations, reporting, and custom development while partnering closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximizing Epicor capabilities, streamlining business processes, and supporting enterprise-wide growth initiatives.


Key Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary technical owner and administrator of the Epicor Kinetic ERP environment.

  • Design, develop, and support ERP customizations using Application Studio, BPMs, BAQs, and C# development.

  • Manage system administration, security governance, environment maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

  • Lead the completion and optimization of Epicor Kinetic implementation initiatives across multiple business functions.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Epicor and third-party applications using REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.

  • Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions utilizing SSRS, Power BI, EDA, EDD, and FPA.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex ERP functional, technical, and operational issues.

  • Support reporting, data analysis, and system performance through advanced SQL development and database management.

  • Maintain technical documentation and deliver user training and knowledge transfer initiatives.

  • Provide support and administration for additional business applications within the IT ecosystem as needed.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • 5+ years of Epicor ERP experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on Epicor Kinetic experience.

  • Experience leading or serving as a key technical contributor during a full Epicor implementation or major Kinetic upgrade.

  • Strong knowledge of Epicor manufacturing, supply chain, production, sales, and finance modules.

  • Hands-on expertise with Application Studio, Solution Workbench, BAQs, BPMs, SSRS, Microsoft Report Builder, SQL Server, and SSMS.

  • Proficiency developing server-side customizations and business logic using C#.

  • Advanced SQL skills for reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, and data investigation.

  • Experience managing user security, environment administration, and ERP performance optimization.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and executive leadership.


Preferred Experience



  • Manufacturing industry experience supporting an integrated ERP environment.

  • Epicor Data Analytics (EDA), Epicor Data Discovery (EDD), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA).

  • Power BI dashboard development and business intelligence reporting.

  • API integrations with third-party applications and cloud-based platforms.

  • AI-driven automation solutions and emerging business technology integrations.

  • Process improvement, workflow optimization, and ERP modernization initiatives.
