The Opportunity

We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Business Analyst ready to spearhead a transformation in a high-impact University environment. As an expert Analyst in the ERP Project Team, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, and lead the critical analysis, design, and continuous improvement of core HR, payroll operations, recruitment, and workforce insights. Using design thinking methodologies, you will translate complex organisational challenges into modern, automated, and intelligent service models that enhance the overall employee experience.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and brings positive energy to the delivery of complex transformation.
• Demonstrated design thinking & vision for a future-state applying design thinking to map user journeys, articulate HR business problems, and explore AI-enabled ERP capabilities, automation, and decision support.
• Proven HR & ERP expertise based on an extensive background leading current and future-state analysis across People & Culture, Payroll, and cross-functional operations within large-scale ERP transformation programs.
• Superior consulting, negotiation, and relationship skills to bridge functional HR needs with a group-wide scope (Finance, Research, Technology enablement).
• Exceptional capacity to synthesise complex, multi-source data into strategic insights, business cases, and workable solutions.
• Highly skilled in facilitating high-engagement workshops, framing trade-offs, and building organisational change readiness across affected business units.

Key Requirements to be successful in this role include

• Thorough, end-to-end understanding of modern HR operating models, payroll systems, talent acquisition, and workforce analytics—specifically within large-scale multi-jurisdiction/global ERP environments.
• Forward-looking mindset regarding how AI, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics can streamline service delivery, enhance employee and manager self-service, and support executive decision-making.
• Strong quantitative and conceptual analytical skills with a proven ability to process disjointed, multi-source data to build sound business cases and trace metrics back to strategic outcomes.
• Pragmatic, and proactive approach to problem solving and building change readiness with empathy through collaborative, co-designed workshops and risk communication.
