Job Description
We are seeking a versatile ERP Financial Systems Analyst & Reporting Specialist to manage our financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing procedures, and job costing operations.
This role serves as the crucial link between Accounting, Operations, and IT. You will initially take a lead role in our legacy environment—while playing a lead role in our active enterprise transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

If you have a strong background in construction/service accounting, job costing, financial reporting, and ERP administration, this is an exceptional opportunity to drive key operational reporting while helping shape our modern cloud ERP infrastructure.

Experience / education:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in financial systems administration, financial reporting, or accounting operations within a construction, mechanical, HVAC, or field service industry.
• ERP Experience: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP OR experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and field service solutions.
• Accounting Expertise: Solid understanding of Job Costing, WIP (Work in Process), Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting, Service Contract management, and divisional financial reporting.
• Technical & Data Skills:
• • Proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL queries, and database administration basics.
  • Experience with Management Reporter, SSRS, SmartList Builder, Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros), and Power BI (a plus).
• Migration Experience: Prior experience participating in an ERP migration, system upgrade, or software implementation project is highly preferred.

• • Analytical Problem Solver: Ability to investigate GL variances, unposted batches, and database errors efficiently.
  • Process-Oriented & Detail-Driven: Highly structured approach to monthly routines, checklists, and data auditing.
  • Bridge Builder: Ability to communicate technical IT concepts to accounting personnel and financial requirements to software implementation consultants.
