    Description

    Our esteemed client, a manufacturer of luxury home goods, is currently seeking an ERP Developer to support its Huntington Beach, growing team.  This is a unique opportunity with tremendous upside potential for the right candidate.  This is a high visibility position interfacing with business leadership, including the CEO.
     
    Essential Functions
    • Document current system, including database structure, business logic and code base
    • Determine, implement & maintain technical solutions to improve system stability, reduce downtime, improve business processes
    • Design, implement & test customization & extensions to the PowerBuilder ERP platform
    • Design & write complex SQL queries
    • Seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal processes
    • Maintain schedules to ensure tasks & projects are completed
    • Meet with business owners to determine requirements
    • Evaluate scope & feasibility of business requirements
    • Seek & maintain knowledge proactively on the latest emerging trends
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Minimum five years of SQL experience in writing for database driven applications & report writing
    • High intellectual horsepower with the ability to solve complex problems quickly & envision innovative solutions
    • Experience with PowerBuilder; SQL Server
    • Proven ability to convert business requirements into actionable development requirements
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing
    • Ability to use sound judgment
    • Ability to manage time & workloads effectively - planning, organizing, prioritizing with attention to details
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment with understanding of MRP logic & Bill of Materials structure
