Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or to be completed within 1 year of hire.
Licensure/Certification: Must maintain current BLS.
Experience: Previous clerical and/or nursing assistant experience helpful. Orientation is provided through a preceptorship at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Mental/Physical Effort: Work performed is varied in nature and requires close attention to details, accuracy and organization skills. Must be able to adjust to stressful situations. Work is normally performed in standing or sitting position with periods of physical exertion, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting. Use of good body mechanics is used when lifting and transferring patients.
