An Emergency Room Registered Nurse opportunity is available in Panama City, FL at a 238-bed acute care hospital that is home to the only Pediatric ER in the community, holds certification in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, is accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation.

The role. As an ER RN, you will triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages presenting with conditions ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill presentations. You will develop individualized care plans that identify expected outcomes and prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain those outcomes, while continuously prioritizing the needs of multiple simultaneous cases. You will coordinate closely with physicians and other hospital departments to keep care patient-focused and safety-centered, and will provide follow-up care instructions and referrals at the time of discharge.

What we're looking for.
  • 1+ years Recent ER Acute Care (within the last year) RN experience; strong ICU or PCU background may also be considered
  • Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
  • BLS must be obtained prior to employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Schedule. Nights with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $29.92 - $44.88/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
