RN – ER I | Christiana Hospital – Newark, DE

• Location: Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware
• Contract Type: Travel / Local (within 50 miles)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Start Date: January 5, 2027 – ONLY
• Shift: Evenings
• Shift Hours: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Scheduling: No block scheduling
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Call Requirement: None
• Overtime: Travel RNs are not authorized to pick up overtime shifts; incidental OT is also not approved.
• Meal Breaks: Travel RNs are expected to take scheduled meal breaks and cannot accumulate or claim untaken meal-break time.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of Emergency Room / Emergency Nursing experience — no exceptions
• License: Delaware RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand
• RN license number and expiration date required
• List of all certifications with expiration dates
• Recent Epic experience required
• All requested RTO must be submitted at the time of initial submission; additional RTO requests after submission will not be considered or approved
• Auto Offer – ER List A
• Maximum 3 days RTO
• RTO Blackout: September 8 – October 31

• Float: No floating outside of the Emergency Department
• Staff may provide additional coverage in either CED or WED
