RN Duties
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing medical emergencies.
This role involves triaging, assessing, and providing immediate care in a fast-paced environment.
ER RNs work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver rapid care for a wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
Assesses, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing care provided.
Ensures provision of quality care for selected groups of patients through utilization of nursing process, established standards of care, policies and procedures.
This RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to them.
Reports to: RN Director/ Department Manager/ Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as ER RN.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
