ER Registered Nurse - Contract

Title: Registered Nurse ER
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1425 Portland Ave Bldg 3 Rochester, NY 14621
Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)/Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00)

• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM, alternating with 11 AM – 11 PM

• Contract: 13 weeks

• Experience: First-time travelers accepted

• Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS required at submission)

• License: Active NY Single-State RN license required; pending license not accepted

• EPIC: Required

• Weekend: Every other weekend

• Holidays: Every other holiday, if needed

• Local Rule: No RNs within 75 miles

• Ratio: 1:5

• Floating: Within skillset required

• RTO/Block: Submit requests with profile

• Call-Off: Up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract

• Scrubs: Navy blue and white

• Equipment: Bair Hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient-handling equipment

Required Clinical Skills:

• IV therapy, blood products, central line care, phlebotomy and IV vasopressors

• CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management

• Stroke, neuro-trauma, TBI and spinal cord injury

• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

• Adult/pediatric emergency care, gunshot wounds and orthopedic trauma

• Triage and isolation precautions
