We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ER Registered Nurse to provide exceptional emergency care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of emergency room experience in a high-volume setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications
- Proficiency in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patient management, trauma response, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care
- Ability to accurately document in EPIC and operate Pyxis medication dispensing system
- Must be comfortable handling multiple critical cases simultaneously
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility
- Additional certifications related to trauma or pediatrics
- Bilingual skills or advanced communication abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Ohio RN license required
- At least 2 years of ER experience at a busy, Level I Trauma or stroke-certified hospital
Other Requirements:
- 12-hour day shift (07:00 19:30)
- Every other or every third weekend commitment
- EPIC documentation experience
- Ability to float as needed
- Navy scrubs and valid Ohio RN license
- Parking options available: Guaranteed parking at WMC, shuttle access with CXS or WB permits
- First-time travel nurses welcome
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $51.29, with a shift length of 12 hours. The start date is projected for May 18, 2026. You will be supported by a dedicated team and benefit from comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick leave, and incentive bonuses.
