Equipment Technician, Optimus

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our data collection team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data collection hardware. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the consistent manufacturing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of data collection equipment.

• Assemble prototype and production-level data collection hardware, ensuring consistent quality
• Perform all levels of assembly, including building, testing, and inspecting custom wire harnesses with high attention to detail
• Collaborate with various teams to design, implement, and test new hardware configurations
• Develop and maintain best practices for manufacturing and deployment, identifying areas for improvement to maximize quality and reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, ensuring that equipment is fully functional and reliable before being deployed
• Utilize internal tracking tools to manage hardware-related issues throughout the manufacturing process and implementation
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, demonstrating a strong technical aptitude and mechanical inclination
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues across various platforms and systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues
