We are currently seeing an Equipment Solutions Specialist to join our team in the Indianapolis office of the Rental Division.  This position is designed to coordinate the products and services offered to Messer jobsites by the rental division for our customers (Messer operations and subcontractors) involved in active Messer projects.  The individual will be actively involved in jobsite visits to work with on-site personnel to strategize, identify, and implement strategies to reduce the total cost of the project related to ordering, scheduling, billing and usage of rental equipment required to complete Messer Construction Company projects.  The goal is that the rental division services will change the way Messer Construction projects are delivered based on excellent service and value we provide. 

What Will You Do: 

• Coordination of all rental equipment on project sites for both direct work and subcontractor requirements. 

• Frequent job site visits to assigned projects to collaborate with project teams on driving efficiency. 

• Establish strategic relationships with subcontractors to be seen as a resource provider to all project participants. 

• Manage job sites as assigned by management for Messer direct work by delivering equipment, contract administration, and monthly invoice review with craft force managers. 

• Cross region support of the Managed Equipment Services program and direct work as deemed necessary. 

• Participate in weekly on-site project meetings to drive the planning of retail equipment movement. 

• Utilize necessary computer programs to complete operational tasks; experience with Emerald by Wynne Systems a plus. 

• Perform additional tasks as needed. 

What You Will Bring: 

• High school diploma required 

• 1-3 years of experience in construction, rental equipment distributor, or related. 

• Knowledge of construction equipment, supplies and materials preferred. 

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and reporting the movement of equipment. 

• Point of Sale system knowledge that includes the ability to administer contracts, run reports and review billing for accuracy.
