What You'll Do as a Equipment Operator / System Cleaner:

• Operate and monitor balers to compact and bale recyclable materials
• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, and hook trucks
• Clean, inspect, and maintain conveyors, balers, screens, magnets, and processing equipment
• Remove debris, material buildup, and blockages to support efficient facility operations
• Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, tool handling, and parts preparation
• Perform general housekeeping in processing, maintenance, and storage areas
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and PPE guidelines

What You Need to Bring to the Equipment Operator / System Cleaner Role:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous industrial, recycling, waste, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift or equipment operation experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Ability to work in loud, dusty, hot/cold, and outdoor environments
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions, manifests, maps, and safety procedures
