Equipment Operator (Reach Truck, Walky) - Spanish Bilingual

Responsibilities: Read production and delivery schedules, and confer with supervisors to determine sorting and transfer procedures, arrangement of packages on pallets, and destinations of loaded pallets. The Equipment Operator supports warehouse operations by safely operating equipment, keeping work and storage areas clean, and maintaining merchandise integrity.

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our warehouse team!

The Equipment Operator supports warehouse operations by safely operating equipment, keeping work and storage areas clean, and maintaining merchandise integrity. You’ll be tested on the equipment—if you don’t pass, you’ll be sent home. Forklift (Reach Truck–Stand Up) experience is required. 

Responsibilities: 

• Read production and delivery schedules, and confer with supervisors to determine sorting and transfer procedures, arrangement of packages on pallets, and destinations of loaded pallets.
• Perform general warehouse activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory, and weighing and checking materials.
• Implement scanning or other automated data entry procedures, using imaging devices and document imaging software.
• Learn and follow safety regulations.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment, such as conveyors, or in specified areas, such as loading docks.
• Move materials over short distances, such as around a construction site, factory, or warehouse.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED req.
• 1+ years’ experience required in a similar role in the warehouse environment.
• Required experience in operating Double walkie ryder and/or pallet jack (Active certification is a plus)
• Ability to safely operate a Reach Truck
