Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in or around Manistee, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Operate a 55-Ton Rough Terrain (RT55) Crane on an active construction site
- Lift and position steel panels and rings used in the construction of above-ground storage tanks
- Safely maneuver loads according to site plans and lift procedures
- Coordinate with ironworkers, fitters, and project personnel during lifting operations
- Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and maintain safe crane operation practices
- Remain available in the operator seat between scheduled lifts as project demands require
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Requirements:
- Current Crane Operator Certification from an accredited organization such as NCCCO or NCCER/NCCA-approved testing organization
- OSHA 10 Certification or higher
- Experience operating Rough Terrain Cranes
- Experience on industrial or heavy construction projects
- Must have proper PPE
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with the project team
