Position Overview

As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines. Your role will ensure the continued operation of assembly machines by interpreting machine faults and performing necessary alignments. You will also engage in simple, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation, ensuring the highest quality assembly of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Read and understand operational procedures
• Safely operate equipment according to company standards
• Start machines from a powered-off state
• Perform work order setups in electronic systems
• Operate machines, jigs, and fixtures to produce quality products
• Interpret gauges and dials on equipment
• Identify and rectify machine faults
• Complete production and work order documentation
• Inspect and test products for quality assurance
• Weigh, count, package, and label finished products
• Quickly learn to operate simple machines
• Demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple machines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to perform visual inspections with or without magnification tools
• Capability to lift and move objects up to 20 lbs repetitively

Preferences

• Basic experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

This position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Please note that this is an onshore position with no remote or virtual work options available.
