Equipment Operator

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator I

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 6AM-2:30PM Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Operate a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) to navigate warehouse aisles and select products accurately.
• Pick items for customer orders according to pick sheets or scanner instructions.
• Label and organize products to ensure precise order fulfillment.
• Palletize products securely for safe transport to the dock area.
• Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and monitor order progress.

What's Needed?

• Experience operating a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) or walkie rider in a warehouse setting.
• Prior experience with order picking, packing, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with using handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in environments with varying temperatures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; minimum 1 year of relevant warehouse experience.
