    The Equipment Mechanic Field Service Technician (Connected Fleet) is a dedicated project-based role and supports the projects machine control and telematics operations, training activities, equipment readiness, and technology implementation efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide direct project support for in-field troubleshooting of 2D & 3D GNSS & UTS Machine Control and telematics equipment.

    Support installation, configuration, and maintenance activities for machine control and telematics systems.

    Maintain the currency of firmware, software, and system configurations across all supported equipment.

    Assist in preparing training materials and logistics for on-site and remote training sessions.

    Contribute to global training program development through documentation, e-learning content preparation, and resource organization.

    Help collect and review operational data for reporting, schedule tracking, and system performance evaluation.

    Participate in research activities to identify and test emerging technologies and industry best practices.

    Works with the Connected Fleet Technician on complex troubleshooting situations and repairs.

    Collaborate with project and Connected Fleet Technician on best practices for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of telematics and machine control systems.

    Responsible for the activation and verification of telematics data flow from equipment to platform. (PEMs, Trackunit, Smart Fill, etc.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Technical aptitude in electronics, wiring, and mechanical systems.

    Basic understanding of GNSS, telematics, or machine control technologies.

    Ability to work in a team-based environment and interact with construction team members, supervisors, and SMEs.

    Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks and supporting training activities.

    Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.

    Proficiency with basic computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry.

    Willingness to learn and grow within a global multi-tier training and support structure.

    Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

    Typically requires 48 months related work experience.

    Work Location:

    Project Based, travel to projects as needed.
