The successful Equipment Maintenance Technician - Torque Tooling candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to perform daily tasks required to ensure the operational availability of assembly equipment. They must be dedicated to performing troubleshooting skills on automotive manufacturing equipment, primarily focusing on Torque Tooling. They must also be dedicated to the daily tasks/TPM/PM and follow up actions required. Moreover, they must be dedicated to conducting the routine actions and documenting any/all abnormalities. They will be integral in driving process improvements and equipment uptime.
Lead the day-to-day equipment TPM/PM activities to ensure operational availability including but not limited to responses to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
Oversee analysis and adjustment of maintenance practices and procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
Lead continuous improvement processes to improve torque tooling and jigs uptime and reduce breakdowns
Troubleshoot torque tooling breakdowns and quality issues
Create, modify, and implement PM documents and schedules, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor
Perform Tooling repairs, calibrations, and rebuilds (some weekends and holidays required)
Design, fabricate, implement, and fully document equipment and tooling program improvements and modifications
2+ years of extensive experience maintaining and commissioning Torque Tooling equipment and automation or equivalent
Skills in industrial maintenance and systems, encompassing the following areas: Atlas Copco and other Manufacturers Torque Tooling Eco Systems IT Network/Wi-Fi Systems MOS/Station Controller Mechanical Drawings Basic PLC Pneumatics
Must have expertise in one trade, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional
Experience creating & maintaining a positive atmosphere in a collaborative work team
Strong overall computer skills, including Microsoft Office and e-mail programs
Torque Tooling Rundown programming skills is a benefit
Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

$32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
