Location: Orangeburg, SC

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Duties

  • Perform electrical, electronic, and functional testing to verify product performance, reliability, and compliance with established quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve failures at the component, circuit board, and system levels using schematics, diagnostic tools, and test equipment.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize test and burn-in processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and product reliability.
  • Review, revise, and maintain process documentation, test procedures, and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with current manufacturing practices.
  • Analyze test yields and failure trends, identify root causes, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Support the design, assembly, setup, and validation of test fixtures, jigs, and diagnostic systems.
  • Perform firmware loading, system configuration, and hardware integration involving Ethernet, BNC, and twisted-pair interconnects.
  • Configure and test complex hardware assemblies including disk arrays and power distribution systems.
  • Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for all test equipment and associated tooling.
  • Lead recovery and repair efforts for failed or downed test and burn-in stations, coordinating with Maintenance and Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including test development, validation, and production readiness support.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.

Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic test, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support environments.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and diagnostic methodologies.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Familiarity with firmware flashing, hardware integration, and automated test environments.
  • Ability to analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
