Job Description Required Education* Two-year degree in Applied Technical Sciences or equivalent from a vocational or related technical college Required Experience* Minimum two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment* One year of experience in project management or a manufacturing environment* Experience using Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, and socket wrenches required Tech Skills* Mechanical design and basic engineering principles* Excel, Word, and PowerPoint* Minitab, SAP CAD, MS Project, and Visio* Blueprint schematic and part drawing interpretation* Mechanical tools and equipment Soft Skills* Verbal communication* Written communication* Problem solving* Ability to work overtime based on business needs Responsibilities* Provide a variety of technical services including mechanical design based on basic and approved engineering principles* Apply technical knowledge to support manufacturing operations* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and part drawings* Use Allen wrenches, torque wrenches and socket wrenches to perform required work* Support project management and manufacturing activities* Work the assigned 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. G shift schedule* Work overtime when requested based on business needs Physical Demands* Wear steel-toe or composite toe shoes as required* Complete required onsite eye examination
