Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician II for a Contract with a client in Hanover Park, IL. The ideal candidate with experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable production operations and minimize downtime.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Equipment Maintenance Technician II Job Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and calibration activities in accordance with established maintenance schedules and procedures.

  • Disassemble, rebuild, adjust, and reassemble production equipment using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and repair manuals.

  • Utilize test, diagnostic, and calibration equipment to identify equipment failures and validate proper system operation.

  • Support equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with safety and operating standards.

  • Train and assist machine operators on equipment maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices for reliable equipment performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • 2-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong experience with preventive maintenance, equipment repair, calibration, and the use of diagnostic/test equipment for electro-mechanical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation while supporting equipment installation, rebuilding, and production operations.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $47.00 per hour
