Akkodis is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician II for a Contract with a client in Hanover Park, IL. The ideal candidate with experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable production operations and minimize downtime.
Rate Range: $26/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Equipment Maintenance Technician II Job Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and calibration activities in accordance with established maintenance schedules and procedures.
Disassemble, rebuild, adjust, and reassemble production equipment using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and repair manuals.
Utilize test, diagnostic, and calibration equipment to identify equipment failures and validate proper system operation.
Support equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with safety and operating standards.
Train and assist machine operators on equipment maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices for reliable equipment performance.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
2-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with preventive maintenance, equipment repair, calibration, and the use of diagnostic/test equipment for electro-mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation while supporting equipment installation, rebuilding, and production operations.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $47.00 per hour
