Description for Equipment Maintenance Mechanic:
- Briefly assist customers at the return desk by checking in returned tools and rental machinery.
- Review technical English equipment manuals to safely diagnose and troubleshoot operational faults.
- Perform routine repairs, maintenance overhauls, fluid changes, and tool tune-ups cleanly.
- Evaluate machinery components to identify and correct structural or electrical tool issues.
- Maintain a highly organized work area and ensure all rental assets meet strict safety rules.
Details for Equipment Maintenance Mechanic:
- Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time).
- Position Type: Temporary Project Assignment.
Requirements for Equipment Maintenance Mechanic:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a strong understanding of industrial and consumer tools.
- Must easily identify different equipment types (e.g., knowing the distinct difference between a drill and a sander).
- Strong English comprehension skills required to read and interpret complex factory manuals and repair lines.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills, high reliability, and great daily punctuality habits.
- Ability to handle active shop labor, lift up to 75 lbs, and pass standard pre-employment evaluations.
