The Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining and supporting equipment reliability across manufacturing sites. This role works closely with plant teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational requirements.

What You Will Be Doing:

The Equipment Maintenance Manager supports equipment installations, facility maintenance activities, and operational improvement efforts at the plant level. This role requires hands-on involvement with plant maintenance and operations teams and a strong working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.

Support equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at manufacturing sites.

Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and execution plans for equipment and facility maintenance projects.

Coordinate equipment layout and footprint planning in collaboration with plant teams and project leadership.

Work directly with plant maintenance and operations teams to minimize disruption during equipment work.

Assess equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, utilization, and efficiency.

Apply working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment, including glass processing equipment.

Understand and coordinate electrical power requirements, including 480V 3-phase systems through DC control voltage environments.

Serve as an on-site point of contact for equipment vendors, contractors, and suppliers during maintenance and installation activities.

Monitor vendor and contractor performance to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project requirements.

Travel to manufacturing sites to support active equipment and maintenance projects.

Provide on-site support during critical installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases, including off-shift or weekend work as needed.

Support and participate in the organization's continuous improvement program and product training courses.

Perform other related duties and provide back-up support to other group members as assigned by management.

Skills You Bring:

3--5 years of experience supporting equipment installations, facility maintenance, or capital projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.

Working understanding of electrical power systems, including 480V 3-phase and DC control voltage environments.

Experience working directly with vendors, contractors, and suppliers in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to work effectively in active manufacturing environments alongside plant maintenance and operations teams.

Must be able to multi-task, be organized, efficient, and accurate.

Must have excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, conflict management, and time management skills.

Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite.

Familiarity with CAD software for equipment layout and footprint planning is a plus.

Willingness and ability to travel regularly to support multi-site operations and occasional weekend or off-shift work.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must pass pre-employment screenings to include criminal background check and drug screen.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
