    About the Role

    We are seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineering Specialist to support an active construction and industrial site in Liberty, Texas.

    The ideal candidate has a mechanical background and hands-on experience working with equipment, machinery, or mechanical systems. This role will help keep site equipment operational by identifying mechanical problems, troubleshooting issues, and providing practical solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment problems.
    • Identify the cause of equipment failures or performance issues.
    • Perform basic repairs and maintenance when appropriate.
    • Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical issues.
    • Recommend practical solutions to equipment problems.
    • Assist with preventive maintenance activities.
    • Help keep construction and site equipment operational.
    • Coordinate with site personnel regarding equipment maintenance needs.
    • Document equipment issues and maintenance performed.
    • Escalate complex repairs when specialized support is required.
    • Follow site safety procedures and maintenance standards.

    Preferred Background

    Experience with the maintenance or troubleshooting of:

    • Construction equipment
    • Heavy equipment
    • Industrial machinery
    • Mechanical systems
    • Pumps and related equipment
    • Other site machinery

    Qualifications

    • Mechanical background or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical problems.
    • Ability to determine practical solutions.
    • Hands-on ability to perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance.
    • Comfortable working in an active construction or industrial environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to communicate equipment issues and recommended solutions clearly.

    Experience

    5+ years of relevant mechanical or equipment maintenance experience is preferred. Strong junior candidates with approximately 2+ years of relevant experience may also be considered if they demonstrate good mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and hands-on capability.
