Job OverviewReeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking a dependable Equipment Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, configure, and service automotive shop equipment including lifts, air compressors, and tire-changing machines, while working closely with clients and project teams.Candidates with prior electrical, mechanical, or maintenance experience are highly encouraged to apply. However, if you have strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, we offer paid training to set you up for success.Shift and ScheduleThis is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with flexibility to work overtime.CompensationUp to $25 per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and test automotive shop equipment, including lifts, air compressors, and tire-changing machinesRun air and electrical lines while reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagramsConduct site surveys to assess client needs and determine installation processesCommunicate with clients on-site, providing updates and training on equipment use and maintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after installationMaintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and service reportsCollaborate with project managers and engineering teams to meet standards, timelines, and budgetsQualificationsForklift and OSHA certification preferredAt least one year of mechanical or related technical experience with a stable work historyStrong mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systemsExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilitiesWillingness to travel to client sites, including potential overnight tripsWhy You'll Love Working HereHealth Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (vacation and sick time), 401(k) retirement planAdditional Perks: Paid weekly, free uniforms, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environmentCompany OverviewSince 1973, Reeder Distributors, Inc. has been a family-owned and operated company built on reliability, customer service, and quality.
