Morgan Corp. is seeking candidates for a paid Equipment Fleet Management Internship for summer 2027. This opportunity is designed for students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Agricultural Mechanization, or related fields, as well as students interested in heavy equipment, fleet management, and the heavy civil construction industry.
The intern will work alongside Morgan Corp.'s Equipment Division to learn how a large construction fleet is managed, maintained, deployed, and supported. The experience will include active construction projects, equipment shops and yards, fleet-management systems, maintenance activities, and coordination between the Equipment Division and project operations.
The internship is designed to build practical skills applicable to careers in construction equipment and fleet management, including entry-level Equipment Division positions such as Maintenance Support Coordinator.
The internship combines field exposure with technical, administrative, and analytical fleet-management activities. The intern will receive one-on-one mentorship and work with Equipment Managers and other Equipment Division personnel throughout the summer.
Assignments will generally progress from foundational learning and observation to increased responsibility, independent research, and problem-solving.

Work Environment & Travel
The internship includes work in office, shop, equipment-yard, and active construction-site environments throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
The intern should expect outdoor weather conditions, uneven terrain, construction equipment, and active jobsites. Activities may include extended standing or walking, climbing on or around equipment during inspections, bending, kneeling, and occasional lifting or carrying.
Travel to Morgan Corp. shops and project sites will be part of the internship experience. The intern must follow all Morgan Corp. safety policies, worksite requirements, and company procedures.
