Job Title: Equipment Engineer
Job Description
The Equipment Engineer II evaluates, selects, and supports manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective production of company products. This role oversees the full lifecycle of manufacturing equipment, from selection and installation through validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. As a technical specialist, the engineer contributes to research and development initiatives, supports process engineering and repair teams, and helps introduce or advance technologies and therapies while adhering to established policies and quality standards.

Work Environment
The role operates in a manufacturing and research environment that focuses on the development and production of complex products, including medical devices and related technologies. The Equipment Engineer II works primarily on-site around manufacturing equipment, supporting installation, qualification, validation, and maintenance activities. The position involves frequent interaction with process engineering, equipment repair teams, and other internal stakeholders. Work is generally conducted during standard business hours, with some flexibility required to support equipment-related activities, validations, or project milestones. The environment emphasizes adherence to established procedures, quality systems, and change control processes, particularly for validated equipment and medical device manufacturing. Appropriate professional attire and any required safety or protective equipment are expected when working in production or laboratory areas

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
