We are seeking an experienced Epic Willow Inpatient Certified PharmD – Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to support inpatient pharmacy technology solutions.
This position requires:
- Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification
- PharmD degree
- Active Pharmacist License
- Epic Willow Inpatient build and production support experience
- Minimum 4 years of Epic experience
Candidates without Epic Willow Inpatient Certification will not be considered.

Position Overview
The Epic Willow Inpatient Certified PharmD – Pharmacy Informatics Specialist serves as a pharmacy technology subject matter expert responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining Epic Willow Inpatient applications.
This role bridges clinical pharmacy operations and healthcare information technology by partnering with pharmacists, clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to improve inpatient medication management workflows.
The specialist will support Epic Willow Inpatient configuration, application enhancements, workflow optimization, testing, upgrades, implementations, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Epic Willow Inpatient applications
- Support inpatient pharmacy workflows within the Epic electronic health record (EHR)
- Translate pharmacy operational requirements into Epic solutions
- Analyze clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform system testing, validation, upgrades, and application maintenance
- Troubleshoot Epic Willow Inpatient issues and provide production support
- Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, and IT stakeholders
- Support Epic implementations and enhancement projects
- Develop application documentation, workflows, and training materials
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance standards are maintained
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active pharmacist license required
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience required
- Epic Requirements
- Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification required
- Hands-on Epic Willow Inpatient build experience required
- Epic Willow Inpatient production support experience required
- Minimum 4 years of Epic experience required
Professional Experience
- Healthcare information systems experience required
- Inpatient pharmacy operations experience required
- Experience supporting clinical applications within a hospital environment
- Experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy Informatics experience
- Acute care hospital pharmacy experience
- Epic implementation experience
- Epic optimization experience
- Experience supporting medication management systems

Candidates must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
