We are looking to hire a licensed EPIC expert when we get not further discussions and workshops and therefore, we will need to have this consultant during the pre-sales process. More details are below on the skillsets
The role: A hybrid technical-product expert on Epic who helps partners and internal teams integrate with Epic systems someone equally comfortable talking clinical workflows and data schemas.
What they do:
- Design integration patterns between Epic and third-party platforms (choosing between FHIR APIs, HL7v2 interfaces, or Clarity/Caboodle reporting)
- Map data requirements to Epic's actual data model (Chronicles Clarity Caboodle) so partners know exactly what to pull or push, and how
- Translate between business/product needs and technical build specs
- Support partner integration questions, data mapping docs, and Epic App Orchard/Connection Hub requirements
- Ensure integrations meet interoperability and compliance standards (HIPAA, information blocking rules)
What they need:
- 4+ years hands-on with Epic (analyst, interface, or integration background)
- Strong grasp of Epic's data architecture and at least one integration method (FHIR, HL7v2/Bridges, or Clarity/Caboodle)
- Comfort translating clinical/business requirements into technical specs
- Bonus: Epic certifications, App Orchard experience, SMART on FHIR dev background
- We are looking for an Epic Integration & Data Specialist who bridges the gap between product strategy and technical execution on the Epic EHR platform. This person will serve as the subject-matter expert on how Epic works - both from a clinical/product workflow perspective and from a data/systems perspective - and will guide partners, internal teams, and client stakeholders on how third-party platforms can integrate and interoperate with Epic.
