Position Summary<\/b><\/span>

We are seeking an experienced Epic OpTime & Anesthesia Analyst to support a variety of upgrade, optimization, integration, and implementation initiatives within a pediatric healthcare environment. This consultant will provide hands-on Epic build, testing, training, go-live, and production support while collaborating with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders.<\/span>

This is an initial three-month engagement with the possibility of extension. The role is primarily remote but requires onsite support approximately once per month.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Key Responsibilities<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/h3> Support Epic upgrade activities, including Anesthesia-related Nova Note review, system build, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Partner with SureTest resources to develop, review, and maintain workflow test scripts.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Support the implementation of the Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Assist with Pediatric Anesthesia Resource Center optimization initiatives.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Evaluate and optimize preoperative workflows and Epic functionality.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Support Epic Perfusion module optimization, reporting, and analytics.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Assist with the installation and device integration of a new MRI system at the main hospital.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Support Alaris pump integration with Epic, including workflow validation, testing, and issue resolution.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Complete assigned Epic enhancement requests, system updates, troubleshooting, and production support.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Collaborate with anesthesia providers, perioperative teams, clinical engineering, technical teams, and other stakeholders.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Develop and maintain system documentation, testing materials, training resources, and workflow documentation.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3> Required Qualifications

<\/span><\/span><\/h3> Hands-on experience supporting Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience with Epic upgrades, Nova Note review, build, testing, training, go-live, and production support.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Strong understanding of perioperative, anesthesia, and preoperative clinical workflows.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience developing or supporting workflow test scripts.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience with Epic optimization and enhancement initiatives.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Knowledge of clinical device integration within an Epic environment.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Willingness and ability to travel onsite approximately once per month.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Preferred Qualifications

<\/span><\/span><\/h3> Current Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia certification.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience with the Epic Perfusion module.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience supporting Alaris pump integration with Epic.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience with MRI or other clinical device integrations.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience with Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group implementation.

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience supporting pediatric anesthesia or perioperative environments.
