Job Summary for Cadence Template Analyst
- Design, build, test, and implement clinical application systems, specifically focusing on Epic Cadence scheduling templates.
- Provide support to clinical users by understanding clinical processes, workflows, documentation needs, and clinical practice standards.
- Manage and maintain provider and ancillary scheduling templates in EPIC/Apex, including processing all incoming change requests.
- Analyze provider utilization reports to optimize template design and build.
- Collaborate with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols and ensure templates meet clinical needs.
- Assess and determine the impact of template changes on decision trees, maintaining organizational standards.
- Prepare detailed specifications covering clinical processes, information flow, risk, and impact analysis.
- Deliver customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance for scheduling templates.
- Proactively identify and mitigate issues affecting ambulatory access and patient flow.
- Operate independently within defined scope and report to the FPO Supervisor of Ambulatory Capacity Management.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in scheduling template design, service level agreements, and change control policies.
- Support Patient Care Access capacity objectives by improving timely access to care for patients.
- Work in a hybrid setting (onsite in Emeryville/Bay Area 2-4 times/year, 1-3 consecutive days).
- Epic Cadence certification preferred but not required.
- Contribute to strategic goals and innovative solutions in collaboration with other organizational departments.
