    Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Epic Application System Analyst to join our team working remotely.

    Education/Experience Required: Position requires at least three (3) years of direct experience with High School Diploma; Epic Cadance Certification required

    Job Description: 
    The Systems Analyst provides technical and application support for the integration of information technologies into clinical and business processes. This role supports the effective application of industry and organizational technology standards and participates in the implementation, testing, installation, maintenance, and support of clinical and business applications.

    As an emerging professional within the Systems Analyst family, the Systems Analyst works with business users, clinical stakeholders, Information Services teams, and senior technical staff to understand requirements, troubleshoot application issues, implement enhancements, and maintain reliable application functionality.

    The position is part of the Systems Analyst Family within Information Services and provides opportunities for career progression within the family and equivalent Information Services career paths. Career progression is based on merit, organizational needs, and management determination.

    Key Responsibilities

    Application Analysis & Support

    • Support the implementation, testing, installation, configuration, and ongoing support of clinical and business applications.

    • Analyze application issues and troubleshoot problems using established procedures, technical knowledge, and documented specifications.

    • Independently resolve routine application problems and escalate complex issues to senior technical staff as appropriate.

    • Modify applications and configurations as needed to meet documented user and business requirements.

    • Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, and technology implementations.

    • Assist with the development and maintenance of application reports and reporting solutions.

    • Diagnose failures involving application software and related technologies.

    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed applications and solutions.

    • Monitor application performance and perform required maintenance and upgrades.

    • Maintain awareness of vendor and industry developments relevant to assigned applications and technologies.

    • Support the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies within assigned areas of responsibility.

    Business & Customer Support

    • Develop an understanding of customer requirements and their impact on application solutions.

    • Build productive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying requirements, and responding effectively.

    • Respond to user problems and provide timely, professional support.

    • Collaborate effectively with Information Services colleagues and other technical teams.

    • Develop a working understanding of IT products, services, applications, and processes.

    • Translate user needs into actionable application and technical requirements.

    Implementation & Quality Assurance

    • Participate in application implementations and technology projects under the guidance of senior staff.

    • Support application testing and validation activities.

    • Perform quality control and verification of application implementations and enhancements before release to customers.

    • Assist with identifying, documenting, and resolving defects and application issues.

    • Follow established change management, implementation, and release procedures.

    • Maintain appropriate documentation for application changes, implementations, issues, and support activities.

    Application Administration

    • Administer assigned applications and technologies in accordance with approved processes and procedures.

    • Perform routine application maintenance, configuration, and support activities.

    • Monitor assigned applications and related technologies for performance and availability.

    • Participate in upgrades, patches, enhancements, and other maintenance activities.

    • Maintain current knowledge of assigned applications and related technologies.

    Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

    • Create clear, concise technical and user documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

    • Document application issues, solutions, procedures, and implementation activities.

    • Share knowledge and technical information effectively with team members.

    • Maintain awareness of relevant vendor documentation, industry standards, and technology developments.

    Project & Administrative Responsibilities

    • Work effectively as part of a larger project or technical team.

    • Manage assigned tasks and deliverables, including activities of increasing duration and complexity.

    • Complete time management, status reports, task updates, and other administrative requirements.

    • Prioritize assigned work and manage responsibilities to meet organizational goals and deadlines.

    • Work extended or demanding hours when required to support implementations, upgrades, production issues, or organizational priorities.

    • Perform other duties as required to meet organizational goals and objectives.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience.

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered where appropriate.

    • Experience supporting business or clinical applications in an Information Technology environment.

    • Strong customer service and communication skills.

    • Ability to troubleshoot application issues independently using established procedures and technical knowledge.

    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    • Ability to manage assigned work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to document technical information clearly and concisely.

    • Ability to learn and support multiple applications and technologies.
