Job Summary<\/b><\/span>

We are seeking an experienced <\/span><\/span>Epic Ambulatory (AMB) Builder Analyst<\/span><\/span><\/b> to support a large-scale healthcare technology initiative. This consultant will serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Ambulatory, partnering with clinical, operational, and technical teams to design, build, implement, optimize, and support ambulatory workflows and system enhancements.

The ideal candidate has strong Epic Ambulatory build experience, a deep understanding of outpatient clinical workflows, and a proven track record supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization efforts, and go-live activities.<\/span>

Assignment Details:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

• Initial 6-month contract with likelihood of extensions<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Primarily remote engagement<\/span>

• Possible onsite visit during project initiation and additional onsite support near go-live<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/h2> Serve as the primary Epic Ambulatory (AMB) subject matter expert and application analyst.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Gather, analyze, and document business, clinical, and operational requirements.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Design, build, configure, test, and support Epic Ambulatory functionality.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, operational leaders, and IT teams to improve outpatient workflows and system utilization.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Evaluate current workflows and recommend process improvements and Epic optimization opportunities.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Configure and maintain records, navigators, templates, SmartTools, preference lists, order workflows, and other Ambulatory components.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Support integrated workflow design across multiple Epic applications.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Participate in system design sessions, build reviews, testing activities, and project meetings.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Develop and execute unit, integrated, regression, and user acceptance testing.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and defects.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Create and maintain project documentation, workflows, design specifications, and training materials.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Support go-live planning, activation activities, stabilization efforts, and post-implementation optimization.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3> Required Qualifications<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/h2> Minimum of 5 years of Epic Ambulatory (AMB) experience.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Hands-on Epic build and configuration experience in ambulatory care environments.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Strong understanding of outpatient clinical operations and healthcare workflows.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, or large enhancement initiatives.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Preferred Qualifications<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/h2> Epic Ambulatory Certification.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience supporting multi-facility health systems or large enterprise Epic environments.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience participating in full project lifecycle activities, including design, build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Knowledge of integrated Epic applications and cross-functional workflows.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Prior consulting experience preferred.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li> Experience supporting workflow optimization and operational improvement initiatives.<\/span><\/span>
