Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Education & Experience
Skills
Standalone technician which is an expert on assigned tools; able to troubleshoot complex issues with little to no guidance.
Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs such as:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft PowerPoint
Knowledge of how to read electronic schematics, mechanical blueprints, pneumatic diagrams, vacuum diagrams, flow charts, cause effect diagrams, and hydraulic system prints.
Understanding of the MOCVD and Implant process.
Good understanding of SPC theory and implementation.
Fundamental understanding of RF systems, test equipment, and components.
Good understanding of vacuum theory, various vacuum pumps such as dry pumps, cryo pumps, turbo pumps, various types of vacuum sensors, pressure control devices, and MFCs.
Able to set up, operate, and interpret output of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, RGAs, high voltage probes, pressure and temperature gauges, dial indicators, and RF meters.
Ability to learn and adhere to established company and departmental policies pertaining to day-to-day operations.
Understand and follow both written procedures and verbal instructions in the preventive maintenance of wafer fab equipment.
Individual must be self-motivated and be able to organize and manage their planned and unplanned activities in a timely and professional manner.
Able to turn an idea into a prototype by designing a part and have it fabricated at a machine shop.
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively utilizing all methods available to them.
Must be able to be a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
