    Description

    Position Function

    The EPA/LEAD/License specialist is responsible for EPA/LEAD based compliance and requirements for local, state, and national levels. The position will be in direct contact with subcontractors and employees. The position will report to the Compliance Manager.

    Skills/Experience Requirements

    • EPA/LEAD based certification
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must communicate well professionally with team, installers, store representatives, and customers
    • Previous experience with training and procedure
    • Must be able to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced team environment

    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • College Degree preferred

    Physical/Work Environment Requirements

    • 20% travel

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    EPA compliance maintenance

    • Maintain current certified dealer listing
    • Assist and train dealers on LEAD certification
    • Acquiring licensing as necessary
    • Setup and maintain EPA Lead Safety record keeping
    • Hold EPA certification
    • Monitor renewal notification for dealer network
    • Monitor EPA regulations required of Certified Firms and Renovators
    • Monitor HUD regulations required of Certified Firms and Renovators
    • Work with dealers and team on EPA requirements
    • Maintain local municipality license database
    • Conduct new dealer training
    • Maintain and provide lead-safe practice updates for dealer network
    • Work with legal department on municipal compliance

    Other Responsibilities

    • Assist team and dealers in resolution of any EPA/LEAD compliance related issues
    • Other related duties as required
