The Stryten factory in Salina, Kansas is one of the largest lead-acid battery manufacturing sites in North America with 800 employees capable of producing more than 35,000 quality batteries per day. These batteries can be found in your car, in your boat or RV, or, in your lawn and garden equipment. The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for leading environmental compliance and sustainability activities within the facility. This role ensures full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while minimizing risk, preventing incidents, and promoting a culture of environmental stewardship.
The Environmental Supervisor directly supervises Environmental Maintenance Technicians and Environmental Control Technicians and is responsible for implementing environmental programs that protect employees, the community, and the environment.
