Environmental Specialist

Environmental Specialist needs 3-5 years experience

Environmental Specialist requires:

ASP, CSP or COSHO preferred.

RCRA, SWP3, PSM, Tier II, Form R, SPCC, Wastewater Discharge permitting and compliance.

Degree in Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety required.

Environmental Specialist duties:

Engage the entire work force both salary and hourly to drive cultural change and accomplishing environmental performance objectives and targets.

Ensure environmental compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements and corporate environmental systems and act as the lead contact with regulatory agencies.

Perform incident investigations for any type of adverse environmental impact, using a formal process with the focus on root cause, corrective and preventive actions and verification.

Provide effective training for all environmental programs including but not limited to SWP3, (Storm Water Pollution & Prevention Plan), SPCC (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure), RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act).
