Job Description
The Environmental Remediation Field Technician performs environmental cleanup, hazardous material handling, industrial facility decontamination, waste removal, and remediation activities at commercial and industrial sites. This role supports hazardous waste cleanup, spill response, demolition support, tank cleanouts, confined space work, industrial cleaning projects, and environmental restoration activities while maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations and established procedures. The position is ideal for a safety-focused individual who is physically capable of demanding field work and experienced working in industrial environments where hazardous materials may be present.

Work Environment
Work takes place primarily at industrial facilities, chemical plants, manufacturing plants, refineries, power plants, and various remediation sites. The environment includes regular exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and changing weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves frequent standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces, with consistent use of personal protective equipment such as respiratory protection, protective clothing, and other safety gear. Most days begin at the shop, where crews mobilize to job sites; reliable transportation is required in case you need to travel directly to a site. Emergency response work may be required on short notice, and work hours can vary based on project demands and spill response needs. Attire is focused on safety and practicality, with appropriate workwear and PPE required to meet industrial and environmental safety standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
