Jobletics by Compunnel is hiring Environmental Services (EVS) Workers for available positions. We are looking for dependable individuals to help maintain clean, safe, and sanitary environments in healthcare and other facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch areas
- Properly collect, remove, and dispose of trash and waste
- Follow established cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions
- Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized condition
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns
- Assist with terminal cleaning and other specialized cleaning tasks as required
- Perform other EVS duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous EVS, housekeeping, janitorial, healthcare, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation procedures preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
